Richard Stratton is an American film and television producer, director, and writer. He is best known for producing the Showtime series Street Time, which ran from 2002 to 2003. He has also produced and directed several feature films, including the cult classic Smithereens (1982). Stratton has been nominated for two Emmy Awards and has won the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Screenplay for his work on Street Time. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
