He was the first to recognize the potential of the franchise and was instrumental in its success. He was responsible for the creation of the iconic Star Wars logo and the marketing campaign that made the franchise a global phenomenon. He also worked on other films such as The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, and The Dark Crystal. He passed away in 2019 at the age of 80.
