Allan Carr was an American film producer and manager. He was best known for producing the film adaptation of the musical Grease and the Academy Award-winning film version of the Broadway musical La Cage aux Folles. He also produced the film version of the Broadway musical The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and the film adaptation of the musical Can’t Stop the Music. He was also a manager for many celebrities, including John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, and the Village People. He died in 1999 at the age of 62.
