He is the founder and editor-in-chief of the online film magazine, The Film Stage, and has written for a variety of publications, including The New York Times, The Guardian, and Variety. He is a member of the Online Film Critics Society and the Los Angeles Film Critics Association. He is known for his thoughtful and insightful reviews of both mainstream and independent films.
