Bio:
Bernard Pingaud is a French film critic and historian. He is the author of several books on the history of French cinema, including “Cinema in France: A History” and “The French New Wave: A Revolution in Cinema”. He has also written extensively on the history of French film criticism and has been a regular contributor to Cahiers du Cinema since the 1970s. He is a professor at the University of Paris and has served as a jury member at numerous international film festivals.
