Aaron Hillis is an American film critic, programmer, and journalist. He is the former editor-in-chief of the film website IFC.com, and has written for publications such as The Village Voice, LA Weekly, and The New York Times. He is also a programmer for the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Brooklyn, and has served as a juror for the Sundance Film Festival. Hillis is a passionate advocate for independent film, and has been a vocal supporter of the DIY film movement.
