    Bio:

    Maxwell Anderson (1888-1959) was an American playwright, screenwriter, and poet. He wrote over 30 plays, including “What Price Glory?” and “Key Largo,” and won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1933 for his play “Both Your Houses.” Anderson also wrote screenplays for films such as “All Quiet on the Western Front” and “The Bad Seed.” He was known for his social and political commentary in his works.
