    Bio:

    Jim Lovell is a former NASA astronaut who is best known for his role as the commander of the Apollo 13 mission. He was born on March 25, 1928, in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1952. Lovell served as a naval aviator before joining NASA in 1962. He flew on four space missions, including Gemini 7, Gemini 12, Apollo 8, and Apollo 13. Lovell retired from NASA in 1973 and went on to become a successful businessman. He has written several books about his experiences as an astronaut, including “Lost Moon: The Perilous Voyage of Apollo 13,” which was later adapted into the movie “Apollo 13.”
