Graham Chapman was a British comedian, writer, actor, and member of the Monty Python comedy troupe. He was born on January 8, 1941, in Leicester, England, and died on October 4, 1989, in Maidstone, Kent, England. Chapman was known for his dry wit and absurd humor, and he contributed to many of Monty Python’s most famous sketches and films. He also wrote several books, including his autobiography, “A Liar’s Autobiography.” Chapman was openly gay and an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights.
