    Earl Felton was an American screenwriter and television producer. He was born on September 5, 1909, in Boston, Massachusetts, and died on September 22, 1972, in Los Angeles, California. Felton wrote screenplays for several films, including “The Narrow Margin” (1952) and “The Big Combo” (1955). He also worked on television shows such as “Maverick” and “77 Sunset Strip.” Felton was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for “Angels in the Outfield” (1951).
