    Chris Carter is a British author and screenwriter, best known for creating the television series “The X-Files”. He was born on October 13, 1957, in Bellflower, California, and grew up in Bellflower and Bell Gardens. Carter attended California State University, Long Beach, where he studied journalism and graduated in 1979. After college, he worked as a freelance journalist and wrote for various publications, including Surfing Magazine and Rolling Stone. In the 1990s, Carter created “The X-Files”, which became a cultural phenomenon and ran for nine seasons. He has also written and produced other television shows, including “Millennium” and “Harsh Realm”. Carter has written several novels, including “The X-Files: Goblins” and “The X-Files: Whirlwind”.
