Robin Campillo is a French film director, screenwriter, and editor. He was born on August 16, 1962, in Morocco. Campillo started his career as a film editor and worked on several notable French films, including “Beau Travail” and “Time Out.” He made his directorial debut with the film “Les Revenants” in 2004, which won the César Award for Best First Feature Film. Campillo is best known for his critically acclaimed film “120 Beats Per Minute,” which won the Grand Prix at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. He is also a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
