    Well, let’s just say Phil Karlson’s Average ROI ranking is so low, it’s practically underground. He’s definitely on the F-List, but hey, at least he’s not alone down there. Maybe he can start a support group with the other directors in the single-digit percentage range.
     

    Bio:

    Phil Karlson (1908-1985) was an American film director known for his work in film noir and action films. He directed over 80 films throughout his career, including “Kansas City Confidential” (1952), “The Phenix City Story” (1955), and “Walking Tall” (1973). Karlson was known for his gritty and realistic style, often depicting the darker side of society. He was also a mentor to many young filmmakers, including Quentin Tarantino.
