Bio:

Brian Gibson (1944-2004) was a British film and television director. He is best known for directing the films “What’s Love Got to Do with It” (1993) and “The Josephine Baker Story” (1991), both of which received critical acclaim. Gibson also directed several music documentaries, including “The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert” (1992) and “The Making of Michael Jackson’s Thriller” (1983). He passed away in 2004 due to bone cancer.
