Bob Rafelson is an American film director, writer, and producer. He is best known for his work on the 1960s television series The Monkees and for directing the films Five Easy Pieces and The King of Marvin Gardens. Rafelson has also worked on several other notable films, including Stay Hungry, Black Widow, and Blood and Wine. He has been nominated for several awards throughout his career, including an Academy Award for Best Picture for Five Easy Pieces.
