Swoosie Kurtz is an American actress who has been active in the entertainment industry since the 1970s. She is best known for her roles in the films Dangerous Liaisons, Citizen Ruth, and Cruel Intentions, as well as her Emmy-winning role in the television series Pushing Daisies. She has also appeared in numerous Broadway productions, including The House of Blue Leaves and Frozen. Kurtz is a two-time Tony Award winner and has been nominated for five Emmy Awards.
