    Well, Sorrell Booke may be ranked 10th in the Fresh Kernels Database, but in my heart he’s number one…or at least in the top 10%. And with that A-List status, he’s definitely living his best life.
     

    Bio:

    Sorrell Booke was an American actor best known for his role as Jefferson Davis “Boss” Hogg in the television series The Dukes of Hazzard. Booke was born in Buffalo, New York, and graduated from Columbia University in 1951. He began his career as a stage actor, appearing in productions of The Taming of the Shrew and The Merchant of Venice. He made his film debut in the 1960s, appearing in films such as The Great Impostor and The Manchurian Candidate. He was also a prolific television actor, appearing in shows such as The Twilight Zone, The Andy Griffith Show, and The Dukes of Hazzard. Booke died in 1994 at the age of 71.
