    Bio:

    Leslie Howard (1893-1943) was an English actor, director, and producer. He was best known for his roles in the films Outward Bound (1930), Berkeley Square (1933), and The Scarlet Pimpernel (1934). He also starred in the classic Gone with the Wind (1939). He was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in the film Intermezzo (1939). He was a popular leading man in the 1930s and 1940s, and his career was tragically cut short when he was killed in a plane crash during World War II.
