    Kang-ho Song is a South Korean actor who has had a prolific career in film and television since his debut in 1992. He is best known for his roles in the films Joint Security Area (2000), The Host (2006), Thirst (2009), Snowpiercer (2013), and Parasite (2019). He has won numerous awards for his performances, including the Grand Bell Award for Best Actor in 2000 and the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actor in 2020. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential actors in South Korean cinema.
