Henry Daniell (1894-1963) was an English actor who appeared in over 100 films and television shows during his career. He was known for his villainous roles, often playing the antagonist in films such as The Scarlet Pimpernel (1934), The Three Musketeers (1939), and The Sea Hawk (1940). He also appeared in classic films such as The Philadelphia Story (1940), The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1947), and Witness for the Prosecution (1957). He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Story of Louis Pasteur (1936).
