Frank Cellier (1875-1961) was a British actor who appeared in over 100 films during his career. He was born in London and began his career on the stage, appearing in a number of plays and musicals. He made his film debut in 1915 and went on to appear in a variety of films, including Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps (1935) and The Lady Vanishes (1938). He was known for his roles as a kindly father figure or a dignified gentleman. He retired from acting in 1950 and died in 1961.
