Fanny Brice (1891-1951) was an American singer, comedian, and actress. She began her career in vaudeville and went on to become a star of the Ziegfeld Follies. She was best known for her comedic roles in the Broadway musicals Funny Girl and Ziegfeld Follies of 1934. She also had a successful recording career, with her signature song being “My Man”. Brice was also a pioneer in radio, becoming one of the first women to have her own radio show.
