    Bio:

    Eric Blore was an English character actor who appeared in over 100 films between 1923 and 1964. He was known for his roles as a comic foil in many of the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers musicals of the 1930s. He also appeared in several classic films such as The Lady Eve, The Thin Man, and Top Hat. Blore was known for his impeccable comic timing and his ability to play a variety of characters. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the 1942 film The Magnificent Dope.
