Dave Goelz is an American puppeteer and actor best known for his work with The Muppets. He has been a puppeteer since the 1970s, performing the characters of Gonzo, Bunsen Honeydew, Zoot, and Beauregard, among others. He has also appeared in films such as The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, and Muppets from Space. Goelz has also done voice work for video games, television shows, and films.
