Barry Beckett was an American keyboardist, record producer, and songwriter. He was a member of the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, a group of session musicians who played on many hit records in the 1960s and 1970s. He was also a founding member of the band, Traffic. He worked with a variety of artists, including Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Paul Simon, and the Rolling Stones. He was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame in 2008. He passed away in 2009 at the age of 66.
