Anna Q. Nilsson (1888-1974) was a Swedish-born American actress who was one of the most popular leading ladies of the silent film era. She began her career in Sweden before moving to the United States in 1913. She starred in over 100 films, including The Squaw Man (1914), The White Sister (1923), and The Scarlet Letter (1926). She was known for her beauty and her ability to play a wide range of roles, from comedic to dramatic. She retired from acting in the 1930s and died in 1974.
