Anita Ekberg was a Swedish-American actress and model who is best known for her iconic role in Federico Fellini’s 1960 film La Dolce Vita. She was a major sex symbol of the 1950s and 1960s and appeared in numerous films throughout her career. Ekberg was also a successful model, appearing in several magazines and advertisements. She was awarded a Golden Globe Award for her performance in La Dolce Vita and was also nominated for a BAFTA Award. Ekberg passed away in 2015 at the age of 83.
