Milk Money (1994)

Ill-conceived and cheap when it comes to cleverness, Milk Money is more than a few cents short of a good time
Milk Money is a movie that’s so bad, it’s almost good. Almost. It’s like a train wreck that you can’t look away from, but you also can’t believe what you’re seeing. The plot is ridiculous, the jokes are offensive, and the acting is…well, let’s just say they tried their best. But hey, if you’re in the mood for a deeply strange little movie that’s so bad it’s good (but not really), then Milk Money might just be the movie for you. Just don’t say we didn’t warn you.

What results is, at best, only a sparingly funny series of mistaken identities and some really distasteful hooker gags delivered by the shocked townsfolk.

It’s difficult to dislike the fun-loving sexuality and adventure, even if it runs on about half-an-hour too long and resolves the predicaments too easily.

The latest film from director Richard Benjamin is a sour little attempt at heartwarming comedy that blithely relies on that most questionable and discomforting film convention — the prostitute with a heart of gold.

Plot
Young Frank and his pals get an idea for the ultimate in excitement. They decide to pool their savings, bicycle to the nearby Big City, and hire some woman of the streets to strip for them. Things do not work out that simply, but they do meet V, a Hooker With A Heart Of Gold, who ends up giving them a ride home. Soon she is living in Frank’s treehouse, unbeknownst to Frank’s widowed father Tom, who thinks she is one of Frank’s teachers. Soon, however, the evil Waltzer comes looking for V.
