Louis B. Parks is an American film critic and journalist. He has written for The Houston Chronicle since 1997, and is a member of the Houston Film Critics Society. He is a regular contributor to the Houston Press, and has also written for the Austin Chronicle, the Dallas Observer, and the San Antonio Current. He is a frequent guest on Houston radio and television programs, and has been a guest on NPR’s “All Things Considered” and “The Takeaway.” He is the author of the book “The Best Movies You’ve Never Seen,” which was published in 2011.
